This is a growing problem in all of our communities.
Our Telephone Assurance Program and our Well Check Visits reduce this concern.
Do you live alone? Do you have difficulty getting out to interact with others? Is increased socialization sound like something you want to do? Do you want to feel secure that someone is checking on you on a weekly basis? Does the idea of talking with someone about your favorite things interest you?
If you answered yes to any of these questions,
consider AGHM's Telephone Assurance Program (TAP).
TAP is a free service offered to those who live on their own
and want the peace of mind of knowing that someone is checking on them.
When you enroll you will provide the TAP coordinator
with general information about yourself and an emergency contact.
We will confirm with your emergency contact that we will call them,
if our TAP volunteer is unable, after 2 attempts to contact you,
asking that they check on you and make a return call to the TAP coordinator.
In some areas we are able to contact State, county or local police agencies.
The officer will make a check on your residence and call the TAP coordinator with any information.
For more information on this free service, today.
We can also do an occasional home visits so you can put a face to the voices you hear every week.
All information is kept strictly confidential.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions for the Seniors and those disabled in our community.
Your generous donation will help those who need it most.
